Evaluation Board for HFBR-3810Z and HFBR-3810MSZ Fibre Optic Components

The HFBR-0543Z evaluation kit is used to evaluate HFBR-3810Z, a fibre optic link from Avago. HFBR-3810Z consists of a 650nm transmitter and receiver pair, with a pin to pin air gap distance of 25.1mm which provides transient voltage suppression of 12kV. HFBR-3810Z is ideal for applications such as: Drives, inverters and galvanic isolation on a single PCB.

Data transmission at signal rates of DC to 10MBd
DC coupled receiver with CMOS/TTL output means no data encoding or digitizing circuitry is required
High noise immunity
Transient voltage suppression of up to 12kV in accordance with IEC 60664-1
